Our people in Network services work across a number of teams to keep the lights on for our customers. They maintain a 24/7 service and ensure customers get a helpful, responsive service when they call about anything, from faults and maintenance, asset replacement to new connections. They might be helping a customer who has lost supply, or they might be helping a developer building a multi-million pound project.
Their work is critical to everything we do, whether they work in Team Support, as a Planner, Operator or Craft Attendant. Graduates and Apprentices also enter the business here, learning valuable skills and building progressive careers.
Everyone here has the opportunity to grow their skills and knowledge through formal training and academic programmes. On-going training and assessment ensures everyone’s skills and knowledge are up-to-date and while this varies from role to role, training largely consists of technical, practical and in-field development. Our apprentices and trainees are supported and guided by their mentors throughout their training programmes.
