An exciting opportunity is available for a Wayleaves Specialist based at our Worcester depot.
You will be responsible for the negotiation of complex consents, wayleaves, easements and agreements in respect of the location of distribution assets, to settle significant damage claims and to design, survey and prepare specifications for major overhead line schemes. You will also provide support in the management of the tree cutting program. In addition you will be required to identify training needs of your own and other team members and provide training as necessary in estates and survey related matters.
* Depending on experience, you may initially be appointed at a lower salary until all relevant courses and training are complete.

You should have proficient negotiation and influencing skills and must be able to demonstrate an ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with customers, landowners and Local Authorities.
Ideally you would have an understanding of how overhead lines are constructed and underground cables are installed along with a general appreciation of the distribution network. You should be familiar with the operation of deeds and wayleaves, be aware of environmental legislation relating to statutory consents and have experience of geographic mapping and searching/updating computer records.
Evidence of your qualification certificates will be required prior to appointment.
As you will need to be mobile throughout the area you must have a valid driving licence.
